Indian Bank invites applications from Indian citizens for filling up 18 posts of Security Officer (MMG II). Eligible Candidates canapply via online mode before 03-08-2013. More details are provided below about age limit, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply etc.

Total no of vacancies - 18 posts
Name of Posts –  Security Officer (MMG II)


Age Limit – Candidate should be between 25 to 40 years as on 1st July 2013.

Note - Relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules

Educational Qualification –  Candidates must posses Graduation from any recognized University.

Application fees -
(i)General and all other candidates need to pay Rs. 400/ -(Application Fees Rs. 350 + Postal Charges Rs. 50/-)

(ii)SC/ST/PC Category candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/-

Selection Process – Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Interview.

How To Apply – Eligible Candidates can apply via online mode from the official website (www.indianbank.in) on or before 3rd August 2013. After applying on-line, candidates should take a print out of the computer generated applications and send it along with the copies of testimonials for proof of age, educational qualification, work experience, community, age relaxation copy of fee payment challan etc by Registered Post in a cover super scribed “Application for the post of Security Officer” to Asst. General Manager (HRM), Indian Bank Corporate Office, 254-260, Avvai Shanmugam Salai Royapettah, Chennai 600014 reach us on or before 20-08-2013.

Important Dates –

Start date for Receipt of online Application: 18th July 2013.
Last Date for Receipt of online Application: 3rd August 2013.
Payment of Application Fees: 18th July 2013 to 3rd August 2013.
Last date for Receipt Copy of print out of On-line Applications at Corporate Office: 20th August 2013.

           Indian Bank offers a variety of self service delivery channels viz. Internet / Mobile /Tele Banking which facilitate more convenience in banking to a great extent.

We have now introduced the facility for regenerating (forgot password) the internet banking passwords (Login & Transaction) through online mode.

One time registration for the facility is required by answering a set of secret questions that are randomly displayed on successful login

The detailed workflow is as follows:

     Ø  REGENERATION OF LOGIN PASSSWORD:

·        Click on the “Forgot Password” link provided in the Net Banking Login (password entry)page.

·        Enter the Mobile No, E -mail Id and PAN No or Date of Birth.

·        On validation of the above details, the Secret Question will be displayed for which the correct answer as registered earlier has to be entered

·        The One Time Password (OTP) will then be sent to the registered mobile number which needs to be furnished in the field provided.

·        On entering the correct OTP, option for reset of password will be provided

·        You can then use the new password immediately.

     Ø  B. REGENERATION OF TRANSACTION PASSSWORD:

·        A separate option is enabled in the Retail Banking menu for “Forgot Transaction Password".

·        Click on the menu “Forgot Transaction Password” provided in the Net Banking

·        Enter the mobile number registered with Indian Bank.

·        If the mobile no. is not available in Indian records/ invalid please contact the respective Home branch.

·        Once the entered Mobile No is validated successfully, the Secret Question will be displayed for which the correct answer as registered earlier has to be entered.

·        The One Time Password (OTP) will then be sent to the registered mobile number which needs to be furnished in the field provided.

·        On entering the correct OTP, option for reset of password will be provided.

·        You can then use the new password immediately.
