Reset your Indian bank netbanking login password through online.



           Indian Bank offers a variety of self service delivery channels viz. Internet / Mobile /Tele Banking which facilitate more convenience in banking to a great extent.
We have now introduced the facility for regenerating (forgot password) the internet banking passwords (Login & Transaction) through online mode.
One time registration for the facility is required by answering a set of secret questions that are randomly displayed on successful login
.
The detailed workflow is as follows:

     Ø  REGENERATION OF LOGIN PASSSWORD:

·        Click on the “Forgot Password” link provided in the Net Banking Login (password entry)page.

·        Enter the Mobile No, E -mail Id and PAN No or Date of Birth.

·        On validation of the above details, the Secret Question will be displayed for which the correct answer as registered earlier has to be entered


·        The One Time Password (OTP) will then be sent to the registered mobile number which needs to be furnished in the field provided.

·        On entering the correct OTP, option for reset of password will be provided

·        You can then use the new password immediately.


     Ø  B. REGENERATION OF TRANSACTION PASSSWORD:

·        A separate option is enabled in the Retail Banking menu for “Forgot Transaction Password".

·        Click on the menu “Forgot Transaction Password” provided in the Net Banking

·        Enter the mobile number registered with Indian Bank.
·        If the mobile no. is not available in Indian records/ invalid please contact the respective Home branch.

·        Once the entered Mobile No is validated successfully, the Secret Question will be displayed for which the correct answer as registered earlier has to be entered.

·        The One Time Password (OTP) will then be sent to the registered mobile number which needs to be furnished in the field provided.

·        On entering the correct OTP, option for reset of password will be provided.

·        You can then use the new password immediately.
