INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THE PHOTO COPY OF ANSWER SCRIPTS / RETOTALLING OF MARKS

1.	Candidates apply for copy of Valued answer scripts will be provided Scanned Copy fo their answer scripts in digital form (Soft Copy) through a special portal/website.
2.	The Website address and the dates on which the candidates have to download the softcopy of answer scripts will be announced later.
3.	Candidates who desire to apply for Revaluation of answer script must first apply copy of answer script and after perusing the answer Scripts he / she may apply for Revaluation, if he desires to do so.
4.	Candidates who apply for Copy of particular answer script must not apply for Retotalling for the same subject at the same time. They will be given an opportunity to apply for Revaluation or Retotalling after they obtain the copy of the answer script
5.	Separate application form should be used for each subject.
6.	Fee details for copy of answer script : Part I – Languages - Rs.550/- Part II – English - Rs.550/- Other subjects (for each subject) - Rs.275/- Fee Details for Re-totalling : Part I – Languages ) Rs.305/- Part II – English ) Rs.305/- for each subject. & Biology ) Rs.305/- All other subjects: Rs.205/- for each subject.
7.	The fees for Copy of answer script/Retotalling of marks should be remitted using separate online challans , generated directly from this web-site only.
8.	Fee Should be remitted through the downloaded challan in any of the branches of the State Bank of India payable to the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai 6
9.	Clubbing of payment of fees in any other form of single challan,or multiple subjects will not be accepted.
10.	After remitting the fee in State Bank of India, the "Department copy" as well as "Candidate copy" can be retained with candidates.
11.	The "DGE's Copy" must be submitted to Thriu S.Srinivasan, Additional Secretary (HS), Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai 6 either in person or by speed post.
12.	Only original DGE's Copy of the SBI Challan is to be submitted. Copies of Challan either scanned or photocopied should not be sent.
13.	While making Payment, candidates in their own interest should request the Bank officials that their 10 Digit reference number entered in their online Bank transactions.
14.	Application should have been properly filled. Defective information will lead to delay in processing the application
15.	Action will be taken only on submission of "DGE's Copy" of the SBI challan at the above office.
16.	Candidates concerned alone are entitled to apply for any kind of request for applying Copy of answer script / Retotaling. Any impersonation will lead to legal consequences.
17.	After Submitting the application for each subject, candidates may take out a printout of the acknowledgement form displayed alongwith the Application Number. This Application Number is required not only for future modifications but also for downloading bank payment chalan and for downloading the copy of their answer script from web-portal.
18.	Separate Application Number and Challan will be generated for each subject applied for.

19.	ON-LINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION WILL BE OPENED FROM 07.08.2013 to 08.08.2013, till 5:00 PM
20.	The last date for making payment at State Bank of India is 10.08.2013, within the banking hours. Applications for which remittance done after the last date will not be included for processing.

Procedure for downloading the copy of valued answer script of Higher Secondary Examination March 2013

Please follow the instructions to download your Answer Scripts

Keep the following information ready to be able login to the website
Reference Number in the SBI Challan Or Application Number in the acknowledgement copy
Register Number
Date of Birth
TMR Code in the Mark certificate
On successful login, click on the "Download Scanned Copy Of Answer Script" to download the file.
Make sure you save the file at a location on your computer.
In case you have registered for more than one Answer Script, you will need to login with the appropriate "Reference Number in the SBI Challan Or Application Number in the acknowledgement copy"

Procedure for for Online submission

Last Date for Online Application Filing : 07-06-2013 @ 5:00 p.m

Dates for submission of "Confirmation Copy" along with enclosures at Directorate of Government Examinations,
College Road, Chennai - 6 : 14.06.2013 & 15.06.2013

Candidates should first go through the General Instructions hosted in dge website for detailed instructions about their eligibility, and other requirements etc. Only those candidates who are eligible should apply online.

The online application process involves 4 important steps as follows :

A. Login and provide the basic alphanumeric Details viz. Candidates Name, Address, Previous Examination details, Papers applied for etc., and takes a print out of acknowledgment.

B. Take a print out of the personalised Online Chalan generated at the website, for making payment at the State Bank of India.

C. Candidates should login with their Application No, and DOB, and take print out of the “Confirmation Copy” of their Online application.

The candidates apply under "Special Admission Scheme (Tatkal) should take out printout of the application ie."Confirmation Copy" and submit the hard copy along with department copy of SBI Challan for having paid the examination fees and photo copy of the Mark Certificate ( March 2013 ) in direct at the Office of the Director of Government Examinations DPI Campus, College Road, Chennai -6 Eligible candidates can collect the Hall Ticket on the same date itself.

Candidates should affix the photo in the downloaded application and get attested by the Higher Secondary School Head Master of the school/where the candidate last studied / schools to the nearest residence / Gazetted Officer

Candidates have to sign at the last part of the “Confirmation copy” also after the declaration text.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT PAYMENT OF FEES
The fees should be remitted in the name of the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai-6 through any State Bank of India (SBI) Branches only, where CBS (Core Banking Services) facility is available, using the personalised Online Chalan Generated by this Website (Refer point 2.B ) only.

For the convenience of the candidates, a quick checklist of the various process involved in the online application process is listed below for reference and use.

Apply online with correct details and Take Printout of the Acknowledgemnt.

Save and Take Printout of Bank Payment Chalan.

Take printout of your “Confirmation Copy” of the Application.

Make payment of fees using the online Chalan at any SBI Bank.

Submit the signed Confirmation Copy, with photograph affixed and attested, along with the Department copy of Payment Chalan and phtotcopy of Mark certificate ( March 2013 ) directly at the office of the Director of Government Examinations, College Road, Chennai - 6.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR REVALUATION OF ANSWER SCRIPTS / RETOTALLING OF MARKS

1.	Revaluation / Re-totalling of marks may be applied for any subjects under the Higher Secondary Examination after getting their copy of answer scipt.
2.	Separate application should be submitted for each subject through on-line.
3.	Fee Details for Revaluation : Part I – Languages - Rs.1010/- Part II – English - Rs.1010/- Other subjects (for each subject) - Rs.505/- Fee Details for Re-totalling : Part I – Languages ) Part II – English ) Rs.305/- for each subject. & Biology ) All other subjects: Rs.205/- for each subject.
4.	The fee should be remitted through the downloaded SBI Challan in any of the branches of the State Bank of India payable to the Director of Government Examinations,Chennai 6.
5.	Application should have been properly filled. Defective information will lead to delay in processing the application.
6.	After entering all the datas mentioned below, an Application Number will be shown. Candidates should Print this page displayed as the application no. is required again for downloading of the payment challan. a) Register Number b) Date of Birth c) Application number (or) Bank challan Reference number i.e., 10 digit number. d) TMR code number mentioned in their Mark Certificate (March 2013).

7.	After submitting the application for each subject, candidates may take out a print-out of the acknowledgement form displayed alongwith the Application Number. This application No. is required for future modifications.
8.	Separate application number and chalan will be generated for each subject applied for.

After submitting the application form, the candidate may take out a print-out of the on-line challan ( State Bank of India Challan ) generated by the web-site.

The fees for Revaluation / re-totalling of marks should be remitted using separate online challans, generated directly from this web-site only. Clubbing of payment of fees in any other form of single challan, or multiple subjects will not be accepted.

11.

While remitting the payment at SBI the applicants may request the teller that they are entering the Reference Number indicated in the payment challan without fail. This will ensure the acknowledgement of their payment by the DGE at this online website at the earliest. The payment status of the applicants will be updated in the website as an when the payment details are received from the bank, which is around 48 hours after closing day.

12.

If the Payment status shows "PENDING" even after 48 hours after closing day, you may submit the Department copy of the challan in Original to the following address by Speed post or submit in person.
