West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) will conduct West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) 2014 on 09th March, 2014. WBSSC invites application in prescribed format for filling up of the 4900  vacancies of Pass Graduate Teacher Posts. Candidates who want to appear for West Bengal TET Exam 2014 , they may send their application on or before 08th February, 2014. WBTET 2014 Exam Details : West Bengal TET will be held for those candidates who intends to become Teachers in Primary (Class I to V) and Upper Primary(Class VI to VIII) Schools in the state of West Bengal. TET is a compulsory Examination for all the B.Ed qualified Candidates to be considered for Teacher jobs in all govt run schools and private schools.

Eligibilty for WB TET 2014 :

Educational Qualification : 

1. For those who want to become Teacher (Class I to V) : Passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks or candidates appearing in final 2 years Diploma in elementary Education/4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)/2 year Diploma in Education in Special Education.

2. For those who want to become Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VIII) : B.A/B.Sc and appearing in Final 2 year D.Ed/B.A/B.Sc with at least 45 % marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed/Secondary Education with at least 50% marks or passed in Final 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).


WB TET 2014 will be held in 2 papers viz
1. Paper I (Class I to V)
2. Paper II (Class VI to VIII)


Selection process : Candidates will have to appear in West Bengal TET Examination. Candidates who will be qualified in TET Exam, they will be appointed on tteacher post.


Application Fee : 
1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 250 Only.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are required to pay Only Rs. 80/-.


How to Apply : Candidates can obtain the Application OMR forms
from the  847 post offices in West Bengal circle . Then Fill the form and along with required certificates and documents send it to concerned address given in the notification.

This year, Lac of aspirants have been appeared in PSTET 2014 examination.

Govt of Uttar pradesh invites Online application from Indian national for filling the various vacancies of  Primary Teachers in Uttar pradesh, primary Schools. Previous year , The State Council of Educational Research & Training(SCERT), Uttar Pradesh has ConductedTeacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) for appointing Candidates as Teacher in Government Primary Schools. Interested Candidates can register their applications through Online mode from 07th January, to 21st January, 2014.


UPTET 2014 Examination will be held in  two parts in 2 days i.e Part I and Part II. On first day, Candidates will have to appear in Examination for Primary Teachers of Class I to V and on Second day,  Exam will be held for recruiting the candidates on Upper Primary teachers post of Class VI to VIII.

Eligibility Criteria for UPTET 2014 :

2. SC/ST Candidates need to pay Rs. 150 only.

Education Department, A.P., Hyderabad is going to announce the AP TET 2013 Notification on 8th July 2013. AP TET 2013 Online Application will be available from 15th July 2013 and Last date is 31st July 2013. All the Candidates can downloadAP TET 2013 Hall Tickets from 12th August 2013 and theAP TET 2013 Examination will be conducted on 25th August 2013.


As all the Candidates know that the AP DSC 2013 Examinations will be conducted from October 9th to October 11th, 2013. So the Govt has decided to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test 2013 before the DSC and the AP TET 2013 Exam will the conducted on 25th August 2013.
