3. Electrical - Diploma (Electrical) (3 yrs. after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.

• Only male citizens of India and Ex-service officers who are medically fit.
• Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 42 years as on 31-12-2014.
• Qualification: Candidates should have possess Graduate from any recognized university.
• Employment: Candidates must have any Gainfully Employed in Central/State Govt./Semi Govt./PVT. Firm/Own Business/Self Employed.

Note: Serving Employee of Armed Forces/Police/Para Military Force are not eligible.

Embodiment for Training of Territorial Army Post 

1. One Month basic training in the first year of commission.

2. Two Months annual training camp every year including the first year.

3. Three months Post Commissioning training within first two years at IMA Dehrabun.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected through written test, Physical Test and oral Interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for Physical Test and oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in both written test, Physical Test and oral interview. The written test will be on the following subjects:-

1. PART-I: Short Essay (In English)

2. PART-II: Objective type question on General Awareness, issues related to Political and Economic affairs, International Situation and Sports.

Terms and Conditions of Indian Territorial Army Service

• Commission is granted in the rank of Lieutenant.
• Pay and Allowances and privileges will be same as Regular Army Officers when embodied for training and military service.
• Promotions up to Lt Col by time scale subject to fulfilling liad down criteria. 
• Officers commissioned in Infantry TA may be called out for military service for longer duration depending on requirement.
