                Indian Amry, Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India, has published an employment notification for recruitment Territorial Army Post. Indian Army Application are invited from gainfully employed young men for an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers, based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions. You can serve the nation in two capacities - as a civilian and as a soldier. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply through prescribed format application form on or before 31-12-2014. Indian Territorial Army Recruitment 2014

Qualification: Graduate

Age Limit: 18 to 42 Years.

Post Name: Lieutenant

Pay Scale: Pay Band-3, Rs.15,600/- to Rs.39,100/- plus Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-

Eligible Criteria for Indian Territorial Army Post 

• Only male citizens of India and Ex-service officers who are medically fit.
• Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years to 42 years as on 31-12-2014.
• Qualification: Candidates should have possess Graduate from any recognized university.
• Employment: Candidates must have any Gainfully Employed in Central/State Govt./Semi Govt./PVT. Firm/Own Business/Self Employed.

Note: Serving Employee of Armed Forces/Police/Para Military Force are not eligible.

Embodiment for Training of Territorial Army Post 

1. One Month basic training in the first year of commission.

2. Two Months annual training camp every year including the first year.

3. Three months Post Commissioning training within first two years at IMA Dehrabun.

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected through written test, Physical Test and oral Interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for Physical Test and oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in both written test, Physical Test and oral interview. The written test will be on the following subjects:-

1. PART-I: Short Essay (In English)

2. PART-II: Objective type question on General Awareness, issues related to Political and Economic affairs, International Situation and Sports.

Note:- Candidate who passed Written test of PIB/ASB are required to bring the following attested Documents at the time of Interview:-

1. All Educational Qualification certificates along with originals (Matric onward)
2. Latest Physical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS Doctor.
3. Copy of Identity proof with photographs (Voter ID/PAN Card/Passport/Driving License etc)
4. Domicile/Residential proof certificate.
5. Certificate for proof of age.
6. Service certificate by candidates employed in Central Govt./Union Territory/State Govt./Semi Govt/Private Sector Authenticated by Head Office. 
7. Self-employed candidates or having own Business are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper of minimum value duly attested stating nature of self-employment and income earned annually along with photocopy of PAN Card.

Terms and Conditions of Indian Territorial Army Service

• Commission is granted in the rank of Lieutenant.
• Pay and Allowances and privileges will be same as Regular Army Officers when embodied for training and military service.
• Promotions up to Lt Col by time scale subject to fulfilling liad down criteria. 
• Officers commissioned in Infantry TA may be called out for military service for longer duration depending on requirement.

1. LIEUTENANT:- Pay Band-3, Rs.15600-39100/-, plus Grade Pay-Rs.5400/-,

2. CAPTAIN:- Pay Band-3, Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.6100/-

3. MAJOR:- Pay Band-3, Rs.15600-39100/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.6600/-

4. LT COLONEL:- Pay Band-4, Rs.37400-67000/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.8000/-

5. COLONEL:- Pay Band-4, Rs.37400-67000/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.8700/-

6. BRIGADIER:- Pay Band-4, Rs.37400-67000/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.8900/-

How to Apply for Indian Territorial Army Recruitment 2014

            All desirous civilian candidates can obtain Application Form, from Employment Newspaper or download from www.indianarmy.gov.in (FREE OF COST) and send it along with self addressed stamped envelope of 28X12 cms size, two passport size photographs and postal stamps worth Rs.27/- affixed on envelope (No other cost for submission) to the respective TA Group Headquarters as per the area.
