Name of Posts : Horticultural Officer
Age Limit : Candidate's age should be between 18 yrs to 30 yrs as on 01-07-2012.
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture.
Application Fee :
1. General Candidates need to pay Rs. 150/-.
2. SC/ ST/ MSC/ DC/ BC/ BCM/ Destitute Widows/ EXSM/ Differently abled persons need to pay Rs. 50/-.
Payment Mode : TNPSC provides 2 mode for Fees payment either Online or Offline.
1. For Online : Fees is to be deposited through Net Banking using Credit Card or Debit Card.
2. For Offline : Fees is to be deposited through Challan (generated from website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office within two days from the date of submission of application.
Selection process : Eligible Candidates will be selected on the basis of Main Examination in Computer Based Test Format, Oral Test & Interview.

Engagement is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency and the tenure shall be as mentioned above. The duration of the post is initially for One year or till the closing date of the project, whichever is earlier. Tenure may be extendable up to project duration.
