In order to track PAN Card status one can easily go to the website of Income Tax Department https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/tan/StatusTrack.html. On reaching the website, one needs to fill in the information required in the boxes there. PAN Card status enquiry can be done by mentioning proper name in the application form and applicants other than 'individuals' should write their name in the field for "Last Name/Surname" only. Make sure that the information filled on the web page should be correct. Then click on the "Submit". PAN card status enquiry should be searched using Name and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YY). PAN Card enquiry can be checked 24 hours after the application has been submitted online.
