Eligbility Criteria for Trainee post :

Age Limit : Upper age limit is 26 years as on 01/01/2014. Relaxation in age limit for OBC & SC/ST Candidates are applicable as per govt norms.


Educational Qualification : 
1. For Technical Assistant Trainee : First Class Diploma in Mechanical , Computer Science,Electronics, Electrical and Instrumentation from recognized Institute/University.
2. For Craftsman Trainee : First Class ITI Certificate in Fitter , Machinist, AC Mechanic,Electrician Disciplines from recognized Institute / university.


What is the Selection Criteria & Salary ?

Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on Interview.


Monthly Stipend :
1. For Technical Asst Trainee : Rs. 12,000 fro 1st year & Rs. 14,000 for 2nd year.
2. For Craftsman Trainee : Rs. 9,000 for 1st year & Rs. 11,000 for 2nd year.

1. Candidates have to submit Rs. 200 only in the form of Demand draft drawn in the favor of ‘CMTI’ payable at Bangalore.
2. SC/ST/Women candidates have to submit only Rs. 100/-.

Apprentice Officer

Age Limit - Candidates age limit should be 26 years for Graduate engineers and 28 years for Post Graduates engineers as on 01-10-2013.Age relaxation will be applicable as per govt rules.

Educational Qualification - Candidates Should be possess First class Engineering Graduates /Post Graduates in Mechanical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering and related fields with an aggregate of not less than 65% marks in the Degree and Post Graduation.

Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test/ interview.

Application Fee - Demand Draft for Rs.300/-(150/-for SC/ST and Women Candidates) drawn in favour of CMTI,Bangalore towards application fee.

Pay Scale - On satisfactory completion of Apprenticeship, they will be absorbed as Scientist-B in the scale of Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.5400/-.
