Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites Applications through Online mode upto 27th February, 2015 for Direct Recruitment to the 417 vacancies of Assistant Agricultural Officer Posts . Interested Candidates may fill Online Applicationform through the website on or before 27th February , 2105. More detailed information are mentioned below.

Name of Posts : Assistant Agricultural Officer
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination. They must have done 2 years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or Affiliated with the Tamil Nadu
Agricultural University.
Candidates must possess Adequate Knowledge in Tamil.
Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years but not crossed the age of 30 years.
Selection Process : The Selection of candidates will be made in 2 Successive Stages, i.e (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the form of an Interview. Exam will be held on 18th April, 2015.
Scheme of written Examination :
1. Paper I : Agriculture (Diploma Standard) (200 Questions , 300 Marks)
2. Paper II : General Studies (HSC Standard) (100 Questions, 200 marks)
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
Examination Fee :
1. Unreserved Candidates need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 150 .
2. Candidates Claiming exemption from Examination fee should pay Rs. 50/- towards Application Cost.
How to Apply : Candidates should apply Only through Online in the Commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in .
Before Applying, the candidates should have scanned image of their photograph and signature in CD/DVD/Pen Drive as per their convenience.
Note : Candidate who have One Time Registration ID (Unique ID) and password, have to apply separately for all notifications. One Time Registration will not be considered as an application for any post.

Age limit : Candidates age should lie between the age group of

Selection Process : The Selection of eligible candidates will be totally based on Main Written Examination performance and Oral Test.
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4500/- per month
Examination Fee :
1. Aspirants need to pay Rs. 175 Only (Rs. 50/- is cost of application & Rs. 125/- is Examination Fee).
2. Candidates belonging to reserved category need to pay Rs. 50 only as application cost.
Note : Fees is to be paid through One time Registration process. It means those who are already registered and paid the registration fee of Rs. 50 are need to pay only Rs. 125 as Examination fee.
Payment will be done through Online or Offline mode.
