Education Qualification :

– Candidates should have completed at the time of applying in this format , M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. in the relevant subject with B.Ed., in 10+2+3+2+1 or 10+3+3+2+1 pattern

– Should have studied same subject in Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s Degree

– Candidate applying for Physical Director post should have completed any Bachelor’s Degree with M.P.Ed. Degree .

Age Limit : Applying candidate’s age limited not more than 57 years as of 1st August, 2015 .

Application Fee : For General the cost of application is Rs.500 while for SC/ST & Differently abled its Rs.250 .

Payment can be made at SBI banks or IOB or Indian Bank .

There are 150 multiple choice questions with each question carrying one mark . Allotment of marks is followed by the table provided below,

DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT PROFESSORS IN GOVT. ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGES UNDER TAMIL NADU COLLEGIATE EDUCATIONAL SERVICE - 2012

CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION CALL LETTER

Teachers Recruitment Board issued notification vide Advertisement No. 4/2013 dated 28.05.2013 invited applications from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of 1093 posts of Assistant professors in Various subjects in Government Arts and Science Colleges in the state.

Certificate Verification will be held from 25.11.2013 onwards at the following venues for all subjects notified.

1.	Government Arts College for Men, Nandanam, Chennai-35
2.	Lady willingdon Institute of Advanced study in Education (Autonomous), Kamarajar Salai, Chennai-5.
3.	Quaid-E-Millat Government College for women, Anna salai, Chennai-2.

Call letters for certificate verification along with necessary forms are already uploaded in TRB website. Candidates have to take printouts of the following forms and submit the same during certificate verification duly filled.

1.	Call letter
2.	Self Bio-Data Form
3.	Identity Certificate
4.	Certificate Verification Form

No individual call letter will be sent through post. The candidates are hereby informed that they have been called for Certificate Verification only based on the particulars furnished by them in their applications. The particulars furnished in their application will be verified with reference to the cut of date 27.05.2013 prescribed in the notification.

Certificate Verification is only an authentication of records. Mere attending of Certificate Verification will not guarantee for either selection or appointment. Appointments are done by Director of Collegiate Education separately.

As per the Notification No.2/2013 published on 09.05.2013, the written Competitive Examination for the Direct Recruitment of Post of Post Graduate Assistants and Physical Education Director Grade I Posts was held on 21.07.2013. A total No. of 167688 candidates applied for the written examination, and 159748 candidates appeared for the Written Examination.

Now the marks obtained by all the candidates who have appeared for the written examination are hereby released (except Tamil subject) along with the revised key answer. 

The list of candidates called for Certificate Verification will be released by Teachers Recruitment Board separately.

As per the Notification No.2/2013 published on 09.05.2013, the Written Competitive Examination for the Direct Recruitment of Post of Post Graduate Assistants and Physical Education Director Grade - I Posts was held on 21.07.2013. A total No. of 1,67,664 candidates applied for the written examination. Out of this, 7914 candidates were absent for the Examination and 1,59,750 candidates attended the Written Examination.

Now, the Board has released the tentative key answers for all the subjects for the post of Post Graduate Assistants. Candidates are given time upto 05.08.2013 to submit their representation regarding objection if any on the tentative answer keys published along with the proof for the disputed answer keys. Their representation may be sent through post or may be dropped in the Box provided at              Teachers Recruitment Board on or before 5.30PM on 05.08.2013
