SBI PO Recruitment 2014 Syllabus - Syllabus - Selection Process



State Bank Of India (SBI) Already has issued a recruitment notification for filling up 2986 Vacancies of Probationary Officers (PO) & online application form you can fill between 01 September 2014 To 18 September 2014 . In This Article we are update SBI PO Associate Banks Syllabus 2014 . More Details are provided below about SBI PO Syllabus 2014 & Selection Process . 


Selection process - Eligible Candidates Will be Selected in Two Phase .

1. Phase - I - Written Examination Test 

Phase-I: Written Examination (250 marks) consisting of Objective Tests and Descriptive Test.
(i) Objective Tests (200 marks): The Objective Tests with 2 hour duration will consists of  4 Sections
with 50 marks each as follows:

(a) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc)
(b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
(c) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
(d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The candidates are required to qualify in the Objective Tests by securing passing marks, in each of the tests, to be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing
candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level for each category.

(ii) Descriptive Test (50 marks): The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration will be of “Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”. The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be
decided by the  Bank. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests as stated above in (i).

2. Phase - II - Group Discussion (GD)

Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)

The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 3 times the number of vacancies in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

(c) Final Selection:

The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately. Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks maximum) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks maximum) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group
Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category. The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

SAIL , a Maharatna Company had recently advertised notification  for the recruitment of 710Management Trainee post in Technical & Administration discipline in E-1 Grade. Last date to apply online for SAIL MT 2014 is 21st January , 2014. Huge number of aspirants are filling the online application form of MT post.


After submission of Online form, SAIL will conduct written examination on 23rd March, 2014 (tentative) to recruit the candidates for Management trainee post. For any Examination, Syllabus is must.


SAIL will upload the SAIL MT Syllabus 2014 on its official website after the end of online registration link so that candidates can prepare well for examination. SAIL Management Trainee Syllabus contains specific information about the course that will the aspirants to secure good marks in examination.

SAIL MT 2014 Syllabus : Management trainee syllabus covers 5 segments that is divided in 2 parts :
1. Domain Knowledge Test (duration 75 minutes) : 100 marks
2. Aptitude Test (duration 75 minutes) : 100 marks 


Aptitude test contains 4 segments and each segments carry 25 marks each
a. Quantitative Aptitude : 25 marks
b. Verbal Ability : 25 marks
c. Reasoning : 25 marks
d. General Awareness : 25 marks


SAIL Management Trainee Exam Pattern 2014 : 

SAIL Management Trainee Exam will be held on 23rd March, 2014 (tentative date) and exam duration will 2 hours and 30 minutes that includes 150 minutes.

Written Examination will have 2 sections . Each section will be off 75 minutes and 100 marks. The First section will focus onDomain Knowledge while the second section will have questions on verbal ability, Reasoning, General awareness and Quantitative aptitude.


Candidates will have to qualify in each of the 5 segments for the respective discipline by scoring minimum 50 percentile marks in the respective category. Candidates who will qualify the written examination, they will be called for Group Discussion and Interview round.
