Name of Posts : Group D

Eligibility Criteria : 

Age Limit : Candidate's age should be between 18 yrs to 33 yrs. For Determining age limit, Cut Off date would be 01-01-2014. The upper age limit will be relaxed as under Reserved Category.


Educational Qualification : Candidates should be Class 10th pass out  or ITI Qualified from any recognized Board/University.

More 10th/ITI Pass Govt Jobs.

Application Fee : 
1. General and OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 40/-
2. SC / ST / EXSM / PWD / Women / Minority candidates / Economically Backward Category Candidates are free from payment of Application Fee.

NOTE : Fees is to be paid in form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank, or crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of f “ Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway” payable at “ KOLKATA”.


Selection Process : Selections will be done on the Basis of written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification  and Medical Test.

RRC South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2013 Vacancy Details - 

Total No. of Posts -3136 posts 

1. Pointsman-B: 104 Posts
2. Trackman: 1343 Posts

Age Limit - Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 33 years as on 01-04-2014. Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification - Candidates should have done 10th or equivalent from a recognized university. Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate are eligible.

Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on written test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and medical examination.

Age Limit - Candidates age limit 33 years to 38 years + (extent of military service + 3 years) as on 01.01.2014. Age relaxation will be providing as per government rules.

Educational Qualification - Candidates must be possess Matric or its equivalent. Those who have been enrolled in the Armed Forces with Non-Matric and discharged with Pension after Completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Matriculate and those who have  been enrolled with Matriculation and discharged with pension after completing 15 years of service will be treated as equivalent to Graduate.

Selection Process - Candidates will be will be arranged in the order of merit on the basis of total length of military service and exServicemen to the extent of vacancies will be called for verification of original documents.

Application Fee - There is no examination fee.

Pay scale - Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- .
