Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)has recently publish recruitment notification for filling vacant positions of Specialist Officer (SO) post in 20 Public Sector Bank. IBPS will conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officer post in various cadres like IT, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR, Rajbhasha etc.


Interested Candidates would be able to apply online from 25th November, 2013 to 14th December,2013. More detailed information like CWE Specialist officer eligibility criteria, selection process , opening and closing of application etc is mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Specialist Officer :

Age Limit : 
1. For post no. 1 to 6 : Between 20 years to 30 years .
2. For post no. 7 to 10 : Between 20 yrs to 35 years.


Educational Qualification : 
1. For post no. 1 & 7 : Engineering Degree in relevant discipline.
2. For post no. 2 : Degree (Graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture /Animal Husbandry/  Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science.
3. For post no. 3 : Post Graduation Degree
4. For post no. 4 : Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council 
5. For post no. 5 & 6 : Graduate and Full time Post Graduate degree
6. For post no. 8 : Bachelor Degree in Law
7. For post no. 9 : Passed final examination for Chartered Accountants
8. For post no. 10 : Graduate with CFA/ ICWA/ Full time MBA/ Full time PGDBM (Finance)


Selection Process : Selection shall be made on the basis of performance in Online Common Written Examination (CWE) and Common interview conducted by the participating organisations and coordinated by IBPS.


Application Fee : 
1. General and OBC Candidates  need to pay Rs. 600/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates need to pay Rs. 100/-. through Online Banking or using credit/debit card.


How to Apply : Candidates can apply only through Online mode from official website. Candidates need to upload the scanned photograph and signature at the appropriate place.

Canara Bank recruitment 2013 Vacancy Details -

1. Manager - 450 Posts
2. Senior Manager-Credit - 100 Posts

Age Limit - Candidates age limit should be between 25-35 years for Post Manager and 27-40 years for Post Senior Manager-Credit. Age relaxation will be extended as per govt rule.

Educational Qualification - Candidates should possess Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University preferably with CAIIB/ Diploma in Risk Management/ Treasury Management/ International Banking for Post Manager, Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.Preference will be given to the candidates with CAIIB/ CA /MBA /PGDBM /PGDBA for Post Senior Manager-Credit. Operating & working knowledge in computer systems shall be an essential qualification.

Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on their performance in GD and/or interview.

Application Fee - Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs.100/- Fee can be paid at any of the Canara Bank Branches through challan form download from the website or can pay the amount by NEFT from any other Bank.

How to Apple - Eligible candidates can apply via online mode from bank’s website (www.canarabank.com) on or before 05-09-2013.
 After submission of online application, take print out of two copies of system generated Registered On-line Application. One copy has to be sent along with self attested copies of all documents / certificates in an envelope super scribed with “Printout of the Application for the post of ____ Post code___in Canara Bank” by ordinary post to Canara Bank Recruitment Cell (Project – 3 / 2013), Post Box No.6648, Bangalore -560002 on or before 12-09-2013.
