Educational Qualifications : Candidates must possess Certificate in proof of passing the Qualifying Examination as on 30.11.2014.
1. For Finance Stream : Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/Cost Accountant (ICWA)/M.Com/B.Com
2. For Automobile & Information Technology : B.E/B.Tech in Automobile/Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering.
3. For Legal : Graduate Degree in Law.
4. For Generalist : Graduate Degree in any Stream.
Age Limit (as on 30.11.2014) : The Deciding min. age is 21 years and Maximum age is 30 years . Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01st December, 1984 and not later than 30.11.1993 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Procedure : The final Selection will be made on the
basis of overall performance in Online Examination and Interview.
Note: Candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview if he/ she fails to produce the relevant eligibility documents as mentioned above.

1. SC/ST/PWD/EXS/DXS Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50 Only.
2. All the candidates other than SC/ST/PWD need to pay Rs. 600 Only.

Important Point About AO Exam 2013 :
01. For both Generalist & Specialist English Descriptive Test answer booklets will only be evaluated of those candidates who qualify in the objective type of tests. The various qualifying cut-off percentage will be at the discretion of the Company.
02. There will be negative marks for wrong answer in objective test. 1/4th of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

NICL AO Exam new Dates | Administrative Officer Re-Exam date 2013 , AO Exam cancelled
National Insurance Company Ltd had conducted the written Examination on September 9th , 2013 for filling the 1434 vacancies of Administrative Officer (AO) post in which lac of candidates had appeared in Examination.
Right now, we have received latest notification about Cancellation of AO Exam .. The management of 4 Public Sector General Insurance Companies had received complaints and representations from various quarters alleging occurrence of incidents that were apprehended to prejudice the interests of some bonafide candidates.
On receipt of Complaints, Management called Fact finding committee to verify the veracity of the allegations and after examining the matter, the committee came to conclusion that disruption of Examination in 4 centres in Patna city was an incident in itself.
Management has been decided and declared the said Examination as Invalid. Since, It was very disheartening news for all the candidates who had appeared in written examination.
In view of forgoing, NICL will conduct fresh written Examination for both Generalist and Specialist Disciplines . Fresh Examination will be held on 15th and 22nd December, 2013.
