Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 37 years as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess Honours degree from a recognized University or its equivalent or degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% marks in Degree Examination.
Mode of Selection : Candidates are selected based on personality test/ Interview.
Application Fee : Candidates need to pay Rs.150/- with processing charge of Rs.50/- and bank will charge Rs.20/- (Only Processing charge of Rs.50/- and No Fee for SC, ST & PH category). Fee can be payable through all branches of United Bank of India and deposited to A/C No. 0088050006323 vide challan specially designed and available at Commission’s website www.mscwb.org on or before 03-04-2014.
How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply online from the website www.mscwb.org from 05-03-2014 to 28-03-2014.

2. Click on the post you are applying for.
3. Click on Apply Online.
4. Fill all the details and then click on Submit button.
5. After registration and completion of data submission a challan will be generated .
6. Take Print out of the Challan and make payment as mentioned above.

Eligibility Citeria for Junior Assistant :
Age Limit : Candidates age must be in between the age group of 18 yrs to 40 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable as per govt norms.
Minimum Qualification : Candidates should have passed HSC / 12 th class Examination or from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent .
What is the Selection criteria & Pay scale ?
Selection Procedure : Recruitment Examination will be held in 2 stages :
i. OMR Based written Examination
ii. Personality Test/Interview
Pay Scale : Rs. 5,400 - 25,200/- & Grade Pay Rs.2,600/-
How Can Apply for Jr. Assistant post ?
Application Fee :
1. General and OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 200/-.
2. SC/ST/PH Candidates need to pay Rs. 50 only.
