Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence in 1954 to meet the specialised electronic needs of the Indian defence services. Bharat Electronics Limited, a leading Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence propose to engage GRADUATE APPRENTICES under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for ONE year in the following designated subject fields for Bangalore Complex:

Mode of Selection: Selection will be through interview only.

Stiphend : Rs3,560/-per month)

The duration of Apprenticeship Training is for ONE YEAR only.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for interview:

1. Qualifying Marks: For General/OBC Candidates - First Class and for SC / ST &
PHP Candidates - Pass Class.

2. Age limit: Candidates should be below 25 years as on 01.12.2012.
Upper age limit is relaxed for 5 years in case of SC, ST & PHP candidates and 3
years for OBC candidates.

3. Candidates should have passed Degree examination on or after 01.01.2011.

4. Following are the documents to be produced in original for verification:
· SSLC Marks Card (as proof of age).
· Original Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree certificate.
· SC/ST/OBC/PHP certificates (if applicable).

5. Employee’s children should compulsorily produce the MEDICAL IDENTITY CARD
issued by the company at the time of interview.

6. Only Indian Nationals are eligible

7. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the Walk-in-Interview.

8. The results of shortlisted candidates and their induction / joining schedules will be announced through BEL website (www.bel-india.com) only.

1. Eye Surgeon: 08posts
Qualification/Experience: 
i) M.S./M.D. in Ophthalmology (MCI recognized) with at least 1 year experience after PG degree has been obtained.
ii) D.O.M.S. (MCI recognized) with 2 years experience after PG degree has been obtained.

2. Para-Medical Ophthalmic Assistants (PMOA): 101posts

Qualification/Experience: 2 years Diploma course in Optometry or trained as ophthalmic assistant in any of the recognized Government Hospital as per guideline of NPCB

3. Budget & Finance Officer: 01post
Qualification/Experience: Bachelor degree in Commerce (B.Com.) with minimum 5 yrs. experience in budgeting/accounting, preferably in govt. sector.

4. Administrative Assistant: 01post
Qualification/Experience: Graduate with minimum 1 years experience in administration or trained stenographer.

5. Data Entry Operator: 01post
Qualification/Experience:
i) Graduate from any recognized university in any discipline with additional certificates/diplomas in computer applications.
ii) Typing speed of minimum 40 w.p.m in English & 35 w.p.m. in Hindi

Application fees: Rs. 500/- for applicants under General category, Rs. 300/- for BC/EBC and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates. No application will be accepted without submission of application fee.
