Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed HSLC or Class 10th from a recognized Board.
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 18 years to 25 years as on 01st January, 2014 (that is, the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.1996 and after 1989).
Pay Scale : Pay Band Rs. 5200- Rs. 20,200/- + Grade pay Rs. 2200/-per month, plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Scheme of Selection : Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) ,Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Multiple choice objective type Written test and Extra Curricular Activities & Special Skills.
Marking will be done in given format :
1. Marks awarded in PET - Maximum marks 60.
2. Multiple choice objective type Written Test: Maximum marks 25.
3. Extra-curricular activities and special skills: Maximum marks 15.
Total Marks : 100
How to Apply : Interested Contenders can apply on-line through the website www.assampolice.gov.in . Candidates can also submit paper applications in Standard Application form at the office of the Superintendent of Police of the District from which the Candidates wish to appear in the Selection Tests.
