Age Limit - Candidates Age limit should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification - Candidates should have passed 12th class of a recognized Board.
Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on Type Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will tentatively start in the month of February, 2014 in Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh followed by Written Test, Driving Test & Interview.
Pay Scale - Rs. 10300-34800/- with GP Rs.3200/-.
How to Apply - Eligible candidates can apply via online mode from Police department website ( www.chandigarhpolice.nic.in) between 01-10-2013 to 15-11-2013. and will send downloaded hard copy of application alongwith copy of SC Certificate (Self Attested) and original Bank Draft (in favour of Section Officer/ Accounts, UT Police Hqrs. Payable at Chandigarh) by registered post to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lines, Sector-26 Chandigarh on or before 30.11.2013.
