Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)will issue the BIS Scientist B Admit card 2013 on BIS portalwww.bis.org.in on 08th Jan, 2014 on wards. Candidates who have filled Scientist B Online form , they will be able to download the Scientist B Admit card/call Letter from 08th Jan, 2014 on wards.


One month ago, BIS has issued notification for recruitment ofScientist B posts. Huge number of engineering graduates have filled online form for appearing in Online Exam that will be held for recruitment of Scientist B post.

Eligibility Criteria for Scientist post :

Educational Qualification : Candidates shall have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than 60 5 marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates)in aggregate .


Application Fee : Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 750 through Online payment mode. SC/ST/PWD/Ex serviceman /Women Candidates are exempted from fee payment.


Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-.
Gross Salary : Rs. 52,280/-.


Selection Process : Selection shall be based on Online Exam that is  proposed to be held in 45 cities . Shortlisted Candidates will be called for Interview round.
