Bhabha Atomic Research Centre invites Online Applications for the following Group C and B posts from eligible Candidates against the vacancies in BARC and constituent units of DAE located in Mumbai and outside Mumbai. Eligibility Conditions :

Age Limit : 
1. For Sr. no.1 : Minimum age is 18 years and Maximum age is 28 years.
2. For Sr. no. 2 : Age lies between the age group of 18 years to 27 years.
3. For Steno grade II : Between the age group of 18 years to 30 years.
4. For Asst. Sec. Off. : Between the age group of 18 years to 32 years.


Educational Qualification : 
1. For Attendant & Stenographer : Must have passed Matriculation or Equivalent. Candidates should have typing speed of 80 w.p.m in English Shorthand and 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting.
2. For Assistant Security Officer : Should have done Graduation from a recognized University. 

Desirable : Candidates should have Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry and Data Processing.


Application Fee  :
1. For Sr. no. 1,2 : Unreserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
2. For Post no. 3,4 ; Unreserved Contenders are urged to pay Rs. 150 Only.

Note : SC/ST, Women Candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Physically challenged persons are exempted from Application fee. 


Selection Process :
1. For sr. no. 1 : Personal Interview.
2. For Stenographer : Written test, Skill Test and Interview.
3. Assistant Security Officer : Physical Test, Written test and Interview.


Pay Scale :
1. For Sr. no. 1 : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-.
2. For Sr. no. 2 : Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
3. For Sr. no. 3 & 4 : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.

BARC Scientific Officers Recruitment 2014 complete vacancy details :

1. One year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduate for the year 2014-15 (OCES-2014) 
2. Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates and Physics Post- Graduates forthe years 2014-2016 (DGFS-2014)


Eligibility Criteria for Scientific Officer :

Age Limit : 
1. For General Category : Max age is 26 years.
2. For OBC Candidates : MAx age is 29 years.
3. For SC/ST Candidates : Max age is 31 years.


Qualifying Degree & other Academic Requirements for OCES/ DGFS-2014 :

1. For Engineering Disciplines : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engineering) / A.M.I.E. / A.M.I.E.T.E./A.M.I.I.Ch.E. with a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in one of the engineering disciplines mentioned.

2. For Physics Discipline : M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics or B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering Physics with a minimum of 60%*aggregate marks. M.Sc. applicants should have Physics and Mathematics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc., with a minimum of 60%*aggregate marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc.

3. For Chemistry Discipline : M.Sc. in Chemistry with Physics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc. and Mathematics up to Std. XII, with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc. 

4. For Bio Science Discipline : M.Sc. in Agriculture Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology,Biotechnology, Genetics, Botany, Zoology, Plant Science, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Food Technology, Animal Science, Life Sciences and Bio sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks; or B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Sc.(Tech) only in Food Technology with minimum of 60% aggregate marks. M.Sc. applicants should have Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Agriculture Chemistry at the B.Sc. stage or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc. with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc. 

5. For Radiological Safety Engineering : M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry with Physics and Chemistry up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of integrated M.Sc., and Mathematics up to Std. XII, with minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in M. Sc. as well as in B. Sc.. Those having M.Sc. in Environmental Science are not eligible

6. For Geology Discipline : M.Sc. or equivalent M.Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Applied Geochemistry with Geology at B. Sc. and at least two subjects out of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc., with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. / M.Tech. as well as in B.Sc. Eligible candidates must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level.

7. For Geophysics Discipline : M.Sc. in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics with Mathematics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and / or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc., with a min of 60% aggregate marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc.


Note : Applicants opting to be considered on the basis of a GATE Score should have a valid GATE-2013 Score in various disciplines.


Selection Process : Selection to OCES/DGFS-2014 is a 2-step process .Screening to short-list candidates followed by Selection Interview of the Short-Listed Candidates. Screening for Selection Interview is based on 2 alternative methods :
1. Online Test 
2. GATE Score 


Application Fee : 
1. General & OBC Candidates need to pay Rs. 250/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD and woman Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
