SSC SI ASI Online Application form 2015 - Sub Inspector Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Examination for recruitment of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Armed Forces (CAPF) and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF. There are total of 2902 vacancies for SI and ASI posts combinedly. Candidates who want to appear in SSC SI & ASI Exammay apply online on or before 26th April, 2015 (part-I registration) and 28th April, 2015 (part II registration). More detailed information are mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidates going to fill the form must ensure that, they have completed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or Equivalent and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car).


Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years but not crossed the age of 25 years as on 01.01.2015. Age relaxation 
are applicable as per govt norms.


Selection Process : The Selection will be through the performance in Written test, Physical Endurance and Standard Test, Medical Examination & Interview.


Scheme of written examination : Examination will be done in 2 papers.

1. Syllabus of Paper I are as follows :

Application Fee :  
1. All the candidates belonging to General/OBC category are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
2. SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen category candidates are not required to pay any fee.


How to Apply : The Applications must be submitted only in the prescribed  format on-line or on paper/Off line. Aspirants may opt for online or offline submision.

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)has posted notification regarding special recruitment drive to fill up the Reserved / Backlog /Current vacancies for the post ofAssistant Sub-Inspector (Steno). CRPF invites applications from male and Female Indian citizens for filling up the 271 vacancies of Assistant Sub Inspector post through Direct recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria for ASI post :

Age limit : Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 25 years of age as on 22-02-2014. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. 


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or University recognized by Central or State govt. Candidates have to passed Skill Test (on Computer) i.e Dictation : 10 minutes @80 words per minute, Transcription time : 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.


Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-.


Selection Process : Selection will be based on Scrutiny/ checking of certificates/ documents, Physical Measurement, Written examination and Skill test ( i.e. Stenography/ short hand test), Interview and Medical examination.

1. Unreserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
2. SC/ST/Female/Ex-serviceman Candidates are not required to pay any Fee.
