Total No. of Posts -50 posts 

1. Civil Police: 09 Posts
2. IRBN: 41 Posts

Age Limit - Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 25 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules.

Pay scale: Rs.9300-34800/- Pay Scale with RS.4200/- Grade Pay per month. 

Educational Qualification - Candidates should have done diploma in Radio/telecommunication, Graduation from a recognized university. 

Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on Physical efficacy test, written examination, Interview and Medical Exam.

Age Limit - Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relax able will be extended as per government rules .

Educational Qualification - Candidates should pass Class-X or equivalent qualification from recognized board/ institution as on the date of submission of application.

Physical standards - 

A) Hight - 152 cms to 165 cms.
B) Chest - 79 cms to 84 cms

Selection Process - Candidates will be selected based on their performance in physical endurance/ Efficiency test, 
written & medical examination, interview and character & antecedent verification.

Application Fee - Candidates have to pay the Treasury Challan of Rs.10/- for APST candidates and Rs.40/- for general candidates in favour of Director, Fire & Emergency Services, old PHW, Ganga, Itanagar under Head of Account of “0070″ Fire & Emergency Services.

Pay scale - Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay Rs.1900/-.

              Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and has completed twenty five years of its existance. Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the university on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, where the present campus is located.


            Ever since its inception, the university has been trying to achieve excellence and fulfill the objectives as envisaged in the University Act. The University got academic recognition under section 2(f) from the University Grants Commission on 28th March, 1985 and started functioning from 1st April, 1985. It got financial recognition under section 12-B of the UGC on 25th March, 1994.
