The Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Boardhas scheduled to conduct Open Competitive Examination with an aim to recruit the Candidates for the post of Assistant in the suitable pay scale. Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Completed Graduation Degree  from a recognized university.  Every individual must have original or Provisional Bachelor Degree and for that the crucial cut off date will be 29.08.2014.



Age Limit : A Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must  have not crossed the age of 27 years as on 29.09.2014. Upper Age Limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST contenders , 3 years for OBC non Creamy layer and 10 years for PWD category candidates.


Selection Process : Contenders will be appointed on the basis of their performance in Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Descriptive type).


Scheme of Examination :
A. Preliminary Exam : Max marks - 200 marks, no. of questions -100
1. Section A : English Comprehension
2. Section B : General Knowledge
3. Section C : General Mental Ability
4. Section D : Quantitative Analysis including Arithmetic


Only those who will qualify Pre.  will be allowed to appear in Main test.

B. Main Examination : Max marks - 200 marks , 
1. Part A : Essay/Paragraphs
2. Part B : English Language & Compression
3. Part C : General Knowledge
4. Part D : Quantitative Analysis and General Mental ability including Basic Arithmetic



Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-.


Application Fee : 
1. Contenders need to remit the amount of Rs. 1000 as application fee using Debit/Credit card or by making payment at any of the Syndicate Bank.
2. All Female & SC/ST Aspirants are free from payment of fee.

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will conduct a competitive ARS Examination 2013 for filling 506 vacancies of Scientist post in various disciplines. ARS stands for Agricultural Research Services, Exam will be held in 2 stages . Interested Candidates are advised to fill ARS Online application form before 03rd December, 2013.

Vacancy positions for ARS Examination 2013 :

Name of Examination : Agriculture Research Service Exam 2013


Eligibility for ARS Exam 2013 :

Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 21 years to 32 years as on 01/08/2013.


Educational Qualification : Candidates mus obtained Master's Degree in the concerned disciplines with Specialization completed on or before 16.03.2014.


Mode of Selection : Selection will be done on the basis of written examination followed by viva-voce.


ARS Examination Details : ARS exam will be held in 2 stages .
1. Preliminary-ARS Examination : 29th December, 2013 (10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon)
2. ARS-Main Examination : 16th March, 2014 (10.00 AM to 01.00 PM)


Pay Scale : Pay Band-III of Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade pay of Rs.6,000/-.


Examination Fee : 
1. General & OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 500/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates need to pay Rs. 20/-
