Education/ Requirements:
Essential skill set
- Masters in Engineering: Engineering in Mechanical or Mechatronics or Thermal or related
- Good technical background on engine powertrain and diesel after treatment system
- Exposure on DOC, DPF, SCR and other diesel engine after treatment components is must
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
Preferred skill set
- Good hands on MATLAB, C, Python or any other related scripting languages
- Should be able to work independently
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpret engine and after-treatment system data, analyze results using statistical and visual analysis techniques
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends/patterns/anomalies in complex vehicle test data set
- Perform complete root cause analysis of issues/faults in the system
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Write scripts (m scripts) for report and process automation
- Participate in technical reviews with counterparts
- Prepare analysis reports and presentations
- Keep up to date knowledge of powertrain technologies, emission legislation & OBD systems
- Maintain awareness of latest trends in technical areas of data analytics
