Educational Qualifications : The aspirants who are going to attend Rally for Group Y Airman posts they should have completed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit : Applicants should be born between 01 February 1995 and 30 June 1998. The upper age limit of the candidates must not be more than 21 years.
Selection Process :
1. Written Test : Test contains an objective type question paper in both language (English and Hindi).
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : 1.6 Km run within 8 minutes
· Complete 20 squats ,10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups
3. Interview
4. Medical Examination
Scale of Pay : The selected candidates During Training period will be paid as Rs.11400/- and After Completion of Training they will get Rs.23,500/- per month.
Instructions to Apply : Candidates who are going to appear in recruitment rally they must carry all original certificates and documents in support of education, caste, age proof etc.

Indian Air Force has released notification for conducting recruitment rally for the unmarried male Indian citizens from the Dinajpur, Coochbehar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Malda, Medinipore (East) and Medinipore (West) districts of the State of West Bengal and State of Sikkim for Airmen for Group Y trades. Eligible candidates can attend for recruitment rally from 16.02.2014 to 19.02.2014. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….
Indian Air Force Vacancy Details:
Name of the Post : Airmen in Group ‘Y’ Trades
Age Limit : Candidates should be born between 01.02.1994 to 31.05.1997 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses or 3 years Diploma in any Stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Mode of Selection : Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test, physical fitness test, interview and medical examination.
How to Apply : Eligible candidates can attend for recruitment rally at 4 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Barrackpore (West Bengal) from 16.02.2014 to 19.02.2014. Candidates reporting up to 10:00 AM at the Rally venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
