PGVCL Vidyut Sahayak Junior Assistant Recruitment 2014

Online Applications from Indian nationals are being invited by the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for filling the 100 vacancies of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) Posts. Eligible & Interested Contenders may apply Online on or before 22nd November, 2014. The Details like eligibility conditions, age limit, selection process etc are mentioned below.



PGVCL Full vacancy details are as follows :

Name of Designation : Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant)


Eligibility Conditions :

Educational Qualification : Candidates must possess Graduation (Regular) in any discipline from recognized University with first trial without ATKT with :
1. 55% or more marks in final year exam for General Category (UR) and 
2. 50% or more marks in final year exam for Reserved Category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC)

Note : The Knowledge of Gujarati, English and Computer is essential.


Age Limit : 
1. General (UR) Candidates : Max age is 25 years.
2. SC/ST/SEBC Candidates : Max age is 30 years.
3. Physically Handicapped Candidates : Max age is 35 years.


Remuneration : 
1. Fixed Remuneration for 1st : Rs. 6500/-.
2. 2nd year : Rs. 7,250/-.
3. 3rd year : Rs. 8000/-.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9700 to Rs. 21,710/- per month.

Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of written test/ Interview .


Syllabus of Examination : The Question paper will be in English Language Only.
There will be 5 sections in Multiple Choice Question Paper having approximate equal weightage for each section :
1. Section I : General Knowledge
2. Section II : English Language
3. Section III : Maths & General Science
4. Section IV : Analytical & Logical Reasoning
5. Section V : Computer Knowledge


Application Fee (non-refundable) : 
1. General/SEBC/PH candidates : Rs. 500 
2. SC/ST Candidates : Rs. 250
