Odisha PSC Assistant Section Officer Recruitment 2014 - Apply Online

Applications from Indian nationals are invited by Odisha Public Service Commission for filling the 811 vacancies of Assistant Section Officer posts in Group C. It is very huge opening for Bachelor Students . Willing and jobless candidates would be required to apply online from 01st September, 2014 to 27th September, 2014. Eligibility Conditions :

Educational Qualification : Candidates have completed Bachelor'S Degree in any discipline of reputed University. Contenders possessing similar qualification can also apply. They must have Adequate/Sufficient Knowledge of Computer Knowledge .


Age Limit : Aspirants age should be above 21 years and must be under age of 32 years. Date for calculating age limit is 01st January, 2014. It means date of birth of applying contenders should lie between these inclusive dates i.e 02nd January, 1980 and 01st January, 1991.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-. + other allowances.

Selection Process : Commission will hold a written Examination to select the eligible candidates. Candidates who will be qualified in written test, they will send Printout/Hard copy of the system generated Form along with specified documents/ certificates etc. along with OPSC copy of Challan showing  payment of examination fee, by Registered Post /Speed Post/ Courier Service to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001. 

The envelope must contain the application that should be superscribed  “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT SECTION OFFICER (GOVERNOR’S SECRETARIAT/ STATE SECRETARIAT)”


Application fee : 
1. General & SEBC Candidates of Odisha State and candidates belongs to other state are required to pay Rs. 300 as Fee.
2. SC/ST are not required to pay any fees.

Fees is to be deposited in nay branch of State bank of India using a specific challan for the purpose.


How to Apply : Candidates satisfying above mentioned eligibility criteria may submit online registration form through the official website. Once they submit form, they will have to take print out of submitted form and keep it for future use.
