Karnataka TET 2014 Exam Details :
Date of KTET Exam : 01st June, 2014
Name of Examination : Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KAR TET)
KTET 2014 will be held in 2 papers :
1. Paper I for those who want to become Teacher of Primary Classes (Class I to V).
2. Paper II for those who want to become Teacher of Elementary Class (Class VI to VIII)
Educational Qualification : Candidates should have completed PUC/ Senior Secondary with 50% marks or B.A/ B.Sc Graduation & Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Age Limit : There is not age limit mentioned in notification.
Examination Fee :
1. For Paper I or Paper II :
a. General/OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/-.
b. SC/STPhysically Disabled candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-.
2. For Paper I & Paper II :
a. General/OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 800/-.
b. SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/-.
How to Apply : Interested Candidates may fill the Online Application form through Official website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in before 03rd May, 2014. Candidates have to retain the printed copy of application form/confirmation page and challan form.
Important dates :
Opening date for submission of online application : 20-04-2014
Closing date for submission of online application : 03-05-2014
Last date for receipt of applications with confirmation : 05-05-2014
Admit Card will be issued from : 16th May to 25th May, 2014
Date of Examination : 01st June, 2014
Declaration of Result : 25-06-2014
