APEPDCL Recruitment 2014 - Jr. Lineman (JLM) Application form

Eastern Power Distribution Company of A.P Limited (APEPDCL), Visakhapatnam invites applications from eligible male candidates for filling up of the 937 vacancies of Junior Lineman (JLM) posts. Interested Candidates may send their application in prescribed form on or before 01st April, 2014. The educational qualification, age limit, application fee and other details are provided below.

Age Limit : Candidates should have attend the age of 18 years and shall not exceed the age of 35 years as on 01/07/2013. Relaxation in upper age limit permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates.


Note : This is in addition to the earlier Advertisement No. 109, dt. 21.12.2011 published on 22.12.2011 in Eenadu & Hindu for Recruitment to the post of Junior Lineman


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed S.S.L.C / S.S.C/ 10th Class with I.T.I qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman trade or Intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Board.


Selection process : Candidates will have to appear for Meter Reading Test, Cycling Test and Pole Climbing test. The candidates who pass the above tests alone, will become eligible for further evaluation of marks secured in 10th Class and I.T.I or intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.

How to Apply : Candidates are first required to download the Application form through the official website of APEPDCL. Take print out of application form , Fill the form in all respects and along with relevant certificates/documents one self addressed envelope of size 11 x 5 inch with requisite postal stamps affixed, enclosed in a sealed cover superscribed as “Application for the post of JLM” by post addressed to the concerned Circle Superintending Engineer/ Operation/ APEPDCL as mentioned in notification on or before 01-04-2014 by 05.00 PM (For more details contact concerned circle between 10.30 AM to 01.00 PM & 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM).
